Tips for Planning the Perfect Super Bowl Party

One of the biggest nights for football lovers is right around the corner. Super Bowl parties are an excellent opportunity to connect with friends and family and enjoy yummy food and drinks. If you are hosting a Super Bowl party, do you have everything you need for an epic gathering? Here are some tips for hosting a party that will score big points for your guests.

Don’t Break the Bank

Our first and most important tip is to set a budget and keep it by shopping at a cost-plus food store like Cash Saver. You’ll find everything from chips and dips, meat, your favorite local craft beer, and paper goods at much better prices without sacrificing selection or taste. In fact, our deli is known for having some of the best fried chicken in the city.

Also, with inflation being high, feel free to make your party a potluck and BYOB. If your friends enjoy your company, they will be happy to help by bringing a dish, it’s also a great opportunity for them to show off a favorite dish!

Set the Style

The website greenenvelope.com has clever and cute design ideas for getting your guests in the mood to celebrate. A few of their suggestions include using artificial turf to decorate your snack table. You can find the artificial turf at a local party store or use a green tablecloth to set the table up like a football field. In addition, you can make goalposts from upside-down plastic cups and find little toy football players at your local dollar store. You can also create your own banners, and feel free to include balloons in your décor with your favorite team’s colors.

Include Games

It’s always fun to have your guests make predictions about the game, whether it’s on who will win or how many touchdowns per quarter etc. It’s even more fun if prizes are involved. Your awards can range from funny and quirky awards to gift cards, depending on the prediction.

What party or BBQ isn’t complete these days without cornhole? So, if you have nice weather, set up the cornhole boards, and just as you made the snack table look like a mini football field, you can do the same wherever you set up the cornhole game. Also, instead of tossing beanbags, have guests throw mini footballs.

Food Ideas

Finger foods are perfect for super bowl parties. Little appetizers, snacks like wings, and miniature desserts will fuel your crowd through the game. Other super bowl standards include sliders, mini corn dogs, pizza, chips, and dips, or nachos. Be sure you have plenty of napkins or hand-sanitizing wipes set out! You will find all of these snacks and more at Cash Saver.

Whether you prefer a chill and cozy party or rowdy and loud, Super Bowl parties are a fantastic way to watch the game when you can’t be cheering in the stands! From those of us at Cash Saver, we hope you have a wonderful time and that your favorite team wins big!
